How we began
Lockerbie based, classic car fanatic and fashion producer, Linny Oliphant launched The Love Bug D&G on 7th March 2020 - the 70th birthday of the VW campervan!
Like great Hollywood stars the classic VW style never loses its appeal and is adored by celebrities including Jamie Oliver and Ewan McGregor. Ellie Goulding chose a blue bay window campervan as her wedding car in August 2019, and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly travelled to their wedding in a campervan in 2003. Formula One world champion Jenson Button drives one as does The Greatest Showman star Hugh Jackman.
Indeed, the VW campervan inspired The Who hit, ‘Magic Bus’ and Roger Daltrey owns one. Linny dreamed of owning a shiny VW Beetle from the age of 8, so the idea for The Love Bug D&G has been forming for quite some time!
Making forever memories
With an emphasis on ‘making forever memories’ Linny combines her track record of success in an exciting career of international fashion productions, location and event management to deliver each special project to the highest standard - working with you every step of the way.
The former Fashion Editor’s work has featured in titles including OK! Magazine, Hello!, Tatler, Red and various other wedding magazines. Having held rank as Director of Fashion Styling and Photography at The London College of Fashion, Linny has styled celebrities including Aerosmith, Caprice, Denise Van Outen, Louise and Sharleen Spiteri and has art directed many pop music videos and TV commercials.
